Advanced Painting Open Studio Night has become a community fixture since its conception in Fall 2019. Unfortunately due to constraints put on the SAIC community and the world due to the COVID-19 outbreaks, we will be unable to hold this event in its current structure. Yet, times like these call for innovation and a reconceiving of what can be done.
With great excitement, Painting and Drawing is happy to announce the conception of a digital Open Studios experience for Advanced Painting. The experience will include digital exhibitions and studio visits to all current advanced painters no matter how far their studio may be from SAIC. Graduate Students will be conducting these digital studio visits, collecting data and images to build an alternate experience for our community to enjoy.
We are excited for this digital experience to begin.
